Of course, an urban display is bound to be extremely functional. This means that every inscription must be easy to read from a distance, and every sign must contain a large amount of text. That's why grotesque has been used by urban designers. The font is tight enough to fit several sentences, yet the neat, flat letters make it easy to read.
