How does this letter-form communicate its location?

Sadly I could not get a picture of this in person. It is a 5 star germanic restaurant. It as established in the early 2000's and has had a very successful career. At the moment the Restaurant is undergoing construction so the whole building is covered. This picture shows their logo and sign, which is on display on the outside of the Restaurant taking up a whole wall, it really is hard to miss. The thinness of the font and arrangement/attachment of the letters display a softness and elegance to the reader promising a quiet and relaxing night within the bar or restaurant. This thinsess of the dark font in contrast to the white of the wall makes the name easy to read when walking or even driving by, even with the artistic layout of the lettering.
