How does this letter-form communicate its location?

STACK is an independent creative and social hub for entertainment, live music, food, drink, and small local businesses right in the city center of Newcastle that opened in 2018. It’s a 60 - shipping container village designed by Dunwoodie Architects constructed on the old Odeon Cinema site on Pilgrim Street. The identity has been designed by a local agency Edge. The logo signifies Newcastle’s industrial heritage and has been painted directly on the surface. The A is reversed out, with a container silhouette in its place, pointing upwards to represent the stack of container units.
