How does this letter-form communicate its location?

Latitude: 53.2266293396, Longitude: -0.5457024735 What used to be a 19th-century warehouse for good and grain, has now been repurposed into a library for the university. What I love about this building is that the original structure and brick walls still remain inside and out, where a combination of old and new is very visible. This is highlighted through the upkeeping of the original ‘Great Central’ ‘Warehouse’ signs on the outside, with the later addition of ‘Library’. This would have again been painted straight onto the brick walls in a whether durable paint. This building helps to communicate the forward-thinking identity that the city possesses, whilst still paying homage to its roots.
