How does this letter-form communicate its location?

The industrial harbour is not a museum, but a living image of Mannheim’s city history of the last 100 years. Spectacular buildings from the Wilhelminian, Art Nouveau and New Objectivity periods stand here, with new industrial buildings in between. Many companies of today’s European or worldwide importance have their roots here. The changes in technology and working life can be experienced hereabouts, as can the creative and economic use of old buildings. This font represents the changes in this area very well. Former chemical factory Badenia in Mannheim’s and it´s illuminated advertising from the 1950s. Miami Vice in the heart of Europe. Mannheims harbour has it all – tropical vibes.
