How does this letter-form communicate its location?

In the area that I work in these types of menus remind me that I am more of a visitor rather than a local. As you can see with the order of the language, English is secondary. This menu is found on the side of the restaurant as like most of the menus. The English with the Chinese is fairly well thought out and uses a consistent san serif typeface and follows the principles of menu layout well. The use of colour is considered as well as alignment with the Chinese.
