How does this letter-form communicate its location?

Located outside the Central Business District of Makati, iDorm is a dormitory for those who work in Makati but live too far from the city to commute daily. The signage looks hand-painted and mixes illustrative elements (a bed) to clearly show the nature of the establishment. I find the name and signage humorous because it is very Filipino—riding on naming fads and puns (like putting an “i” on everything even if it has no connection/relevance to the service/product offered). Nonetheless, the white-on-gray color scheme makes the sign stand out even from a distance and gives a clean, industrial look.
