How does this letter-form communicate its location?
Very much the representation of the proud heritage of Kilkeel. Located at a focal point in town where there use to be a courthouse and market a main source for horse and carts which is shown with the serif lettering found on the horse carts used on the new sign, bringing past culture into a newer age. With the influence of development plans, new themes started to be created in town such as the gold and black colour scheme reflecting a refined and elegant appearance for the “Capital” of Mourne, along with the serif lettering to show the traditional heritage.
