How does this letter-form communicate its location?
The last vernacular lettering I think represents Ealing the most is Ealing Studios. According to the chronicles, Ealing used to be a village, a garden-market economy, that's a very unusual place for movie production. The white administrative block in the heart of the residential area with a modest logo between laurel branches - doesn't look at all like a film studio. Not just any, but one of the oldest and greatest ones. Sadly, the studios are now completely closed to the public, although they still actively produce movies there - its rich history is kept alive by only the people who remember Carry On films and still watch black & white movies.
