How does this letter-form communicate its location?
I first saw this piece of lettering soon after moving to the town, while exploring this unfamiliar neighbourhood. It has stayed with me ever since, and though I don’t pass it very often, I do sometimes make a slight detour in order to take a look. It gives me an impression of a whimsical community, one of colour and with just the right amount of nostalgia. The sign explores type along a curve, and uses both serif and sans-serif glyphs. Though it contains only letters, it also somehow brings to mind an image of the drink it refers to!
