How does this letter-form communicate its location?
This sign interested me because of the history of this Grade II listed building, it is a building that Marks & Spencer and Waterstones occupy but before then it was The County Hotel. The Queen and Prince Phillip stayed there on their Royal visit, apparently, it was such an important and central place to Taunton and everyone was very sad to see it close in 1995, but this sign that is still there sitting above Waterstones gives you a slight bit of history from before. The simple Serif font fits well with the enormous central building, you can tell it was a focal point for the town.
