How does this letter-form communicate its location?

While walking around Walpole park I found several stickers put on random signs in the park. Some were in plain view while some were more hidden. This reminded me of a quest from Detroit: Become Human, where you follow graffiti to find a secret organization. The symbols, even though most like put around randomly, were very fun to keep a look out for. I tried finding the symbol on the internet but couldn't find anything, so I assume it was someone random who just decided to adorn the park with them. These stickers added modernity to the park which somewhat advertises itself as very old through the plaques.
