How does this letter-form communicate its location?
Thessaloniki has a rich history especially from the Byzantine and Roman eras, with many archaeological sites scattered within the city. I managed to find a nice example of typography from that era located in the Panagia Chalkeon which is an 11th-century Byzantine church, It's really difficult for me to acquire a photo of this inscription by myself at the moment however I will attach the photos I found online alongside with the screenshot from google maps for their location in my blog.
