How does this letter-form communicate its location?
Slightly more modern and this one has also been very well preserved. It's from A newspaper called the "Thanet Times" Specifically aimed for the local residents of the times and also for classified ad's. The newspaper was from 1958-1975 created in post-war times. With advertising becoming more positive and more about self promotion of your brand etc. This is a double for signs, The sign above "Hair Stupple Cutter" is a renovated sign dating back to 1858 for a hair stylist called William Stupple. The sign is carved into a stone. What I like about this is the two words either side of Stupple and the almost wave like font, which I think was done on purpose to signify wavey style hair.
