How does this letter-form communicate its location?

In the 1930s, the raw tobacco business of Josef Strack & Co. settled in Industriestrasse. In 1942, the company bought land for an expansion. Up until today it is possible to determine when the building was actually built. The ghost sign is an impressive reminder on what advertising has been 90 years ago.
