How does this letter-form communicate its location?

James McKee’s Sign is a wood painted sign worn from weather and time but unlike other signs in town not renewed to a higher quality sign due to its location being further away from the centre of town tucked down a side road among housing. A name-based business which is common in a small town where you relay on word of mouth and connections more than a brand name as family business are more the normal. Stacked blue lettering linked closely to lettering similarly found on the boats at the harbour with a quirky and lively nature of Kilkeel.
