How does this letter-form communicate its location?
Hampshire Chronicle I like this text because it’s simple and clear. To me, it looks like the headlines of a newspaper. I believe that in choosing this text and the positioning of it, gives respect to the building. Whilst it is informative, it does not distract from the building itself and you have the lovely sign hanging from the building which you would be able to view as you walked past. The newspaper has a lot of history and only moved to this particular building in more recent years. They could have chosen a more modern typography when they moved but I feel this typeface represents the history of the paper and suits the style of the building.
