How does this letter-form communicate its location?

The most famous pub in this little big market town of Lancashire. The typography of this name CROWN has a little different way of writing "W", which is made more of san serif. Giving a little artistic feeling to the pub's name and surrounding the pub is a unique setting. It has a chocolate shop, a designer clothing brand, and classes for kids piano and these all work well incoherent with each other. The dar red and black colour of the sign gives out a solid young and subtle vibe simultaneously.
