How does this letter-form communicate its location?

Festival Place shopping centre opened in 2002 and was given a refreshed, simplified identity in 2018/19, including this logo. I really like how the combination of typefaces adds a bit of excitement while remaining relatively simple, which is important for a shopping centre. The looped, relaxed style used for "festival" communicates a fun, free and inviting feeling (much like a festival) while "place" is steady, even and strong in its style, invoking feelings of reliability and confidence. I also really like the 3D lettering fixed onto the wall as this gives it a little more texture than a painted or printed sign.
