How does this letter-form communicate its location?
This was an unmarked building that has become derelict. The building resides near the ceramic shop in an area which, has been left to decay. I found the font used for the name of the hospital quite gothic as if it had been written on by hand. I am being reminded of the gothic font Fraktur, used by the Nazis in world war two. The lettering looks intimidating rather than welcoming. I believe this hospital facility hasn’t been used in a long time and the font reflects this with its un welcoming inscription. ΚΕΝΤΡΟ ΒΟΗΟΕΙΑΖ reads ‘Help Centre’.
