How does this letter-form communicate its location?

This shop front has taken note of its surroundings (where graffiti is prevalent), incorporating stylised graffiti. This is done in an expressive yet controlled way, fitting in and also contributing to the location, providing a different take on graffiti, adding elements of elegance and fluidity. The balance/contrasting colour helps achieve this, with an overall patterned look, which works without reading the words. Playful, decorative lettering in the window creates a playful vibe appropriate for the products sold, contrasting with the clearer transport typography. Different styles comes together in a similar way to the diverse environment of Manchester city itself.
