How does this letter-form communicate its location?
A faded, hand painted advert on the wall of Amin Pharmacy for Meggezones menthol pastilles, produced in SE London (Bermondsey) by Meggeson company since 1796. It shares the wall with smaller advert for chemist offering films and cameras. Both signs combine various type design: serif, sans serif, and script. Date of creation is unknown, however the price is in shillings, so most likely long time before the decimalisation in 1971. Such signs pre-deceased the ever-changing billboards and digital adverts and are evidence of local history.
