How does this letter-form communicate its location?
Another business which has stood the test of time is the Central Bakery in Castries. My first recollection of this bakery is from way back in primary school. Buying some nice hot loaves with some cheese on an afternoon, after school was done. Being by myself at the time, I probably wouldn’t have been able to find the location without the type running across the building ‘CENTRAL BAKERY’. This text for the Central Bakery is an important part of the bakery’s identity and plays a critical role in attracting customers to the establishment. It provides a clear indication of the bakery’s location and serves as a visual representation of its products and services. It helps to create a brand identity for the bakery and distinguishes it from other establishments in the area with the use of the brown color of the text along with the golden-yellow of the building. Over the years the building and text have been repainted and it’s maintenance is essential in ensuring the continued success and growth of the Central Bakery.
