How does this letter-form communicate its location?

The Castries Central Library was opened in Castries in November 1924. The current signage of the Castries Central Library holds significant historical and cultural value. It might not have been the original but this one has been around since I was a kid in the 90s, making it an important aspect of the library’s identity. Not only does it serve as a physical marker for the library’s location in the city, but also represents the evolution of the library and its role in promoting literacy and education over the years. Keeping this old sign with its weathered lettering help to foster a sense of community pride and connection to the library’s history and legacy.
