How does this letter-form communicate its location?
Green Thumb nursery is a family-owned garden shop in Canoga Park, the visual identity of which is represented by large dimensional street signage above the building, composed of hexagonal shape positioned above rectangular blocks with letters. The looks and feel resembles the midcentury modern aesthetics of the 70th, and overall carries the vintage mood. The main block of the message is actually not the name of the business, but its descriptor – Garden Center. It’s crafted with capital letters of clean font of black color placed over bright yellow and orange rectangular shapes, outlined with dark green frame of the structure.
