How does this letter-form communicate its location?

A small antique and vintage mall in the heart of Canoga Park old town called Retro Relics Etcetera showcases a custom hand-painted logo on the sidewalk signs and the mural on the side of the store’s building. The logo features two mirrored curvy letters “R” set in upper case, with the drawing of the vintage watch placed between them. The look and feel of the font and the logo are representing the nature of the business very well, they really tell the story of something special, rare, unique and of vintage style. The logo is drawn in black and white on the sidewalk signage and the reversed option is painted on the mural.
