How does this letter-form communicate its location?
This is the Commemoration plaque for Titanic steamship in 2, 3 Pearse Square, Kilgarvan, Cobh, Co. Cork, P24 F589. This is the Commemoration plaque for Titanic steamship in Cobh, County Cork, from 1912. This plaque looks like it's weathered away with time. The paint on the letters is smudged and faded, suggesting that this plaque has been around for a while, although I'm not sure if this plaque is from 1912. The font is very similar to the font used in the newspapers advertising tickets for the Titanic. I think this type design is very reminiscent of the fact that Cobh is indeed a tourist attraction linked to the Titanic. The plaque is placed on the Titanic Bar and Grill in the Historic White Star Line Building.
