How does this letter-form communicate its location?
Next I picked a new addition. Fever & Cirque is a nightclub that was introduced to Aylesbury in 2014; replacing a pub that had been there since the early 70s. Fever has featured on many ‘tragic hometown night clubs’ and ‘Town’s with the worst nightlife’ articles on the web; which sums up the nightlife, or lack of, in Aylesbury. The letters themselves are geometric, taking a circular form. The apertures are very small, and the counters and eyes are open making it feel quite playful. The extra bold weight of the letters makes the sign quite eye catching, but the fact the sign is missing letters and is made from cheap materials makes the place feel more run down than high end.
