How does this letter-form communicate its location?

Located in the heart of Calgary’s Chinatown, is an iconic restaurant that has existed for decades. Like many cities in North America, Calgary has a very notably sized Chinese cultural area. Its a wonderful place to visit both day and night. But unlike some “Chinatowns” abroad, we are preserving this area and embracing its cultural significance. I love the English type and Chinese kanji letterforms, existing in harmony as symbolic as the two cultures they represent. The kitschy neon signs promising of an equally over-the-top interior dining experience. Canada in general has a very open door policy to immigrants and refuges and prominent signage of their respective cultural areas signifies this policy.
